Importing organic fruit and vegetables is my business. So going from eating organic food where I can, to using products on myself and my family that won’t harm the environment seemed a logical step. I firmly believe that each of us bears a responsibility for our own health as well as that of the planet. Buying organic is more expensive, but each dollar we spend is essentially a vote for the producer and the methods they use – and each vote truly counts! Using untested chemicals on my body makes me nervous, and in many cases we are so used to purchasing cosmetics and soaps that many times we do not question what ingredients are in there. We rely on a self regulating industry to do what’s right, not what’s expedient! So by using Mi-Essence products I make a stand. In small, yet important way.
